How to split a photo into a grid

Divide the original dimensions without stretching the image or losing pixels.
1

Choose an image

Open one JPG, PNG or WebP image. The original file is not changed.

2

Set rows, columns and format

Choose 1–10 rows and columns. Grid lines and numbers show tile positions and the export order.

3

Save the tiles as ZIP

PNG preserves transparency; JPG uses your chosen background. Extract the ZIP to get tiles ordered left to right, then top to bottom.

IMAGE SPLITTER FAQ

Image splitting questions

1Is image splitting free?

Yes. No account or usage-count limit. File-size and grid limits protect your device memory.

2Are odd-sized images split exactly?

Yes. Every source pixel belongs to exactly one tile. Tile widths or heights can differ by 1px when the dimensions do not divide evenly.

3How many tiles can I create?

Choose 1–10 rows and columns for up to 100 tiles. Input limits are 20 MB, 20 million pixels and 16,384px per edge. Each tile must be at least 1px. The ZIP limit is 100 MB.

4Are the grid and numbers saved?

No. They appear only in the preview. Exported tiles contain the original image area; JPG compression can slightly change colors.
