Choosing an audio tool
1Can I save the result as MP3?
Trim, merge and volume currently save 16-bit PCM WAV. The waveform tool saves PNG images. WAV output can be larger than the compressed source.
2Does merging play several sounds at once?
No. Files are joined end to end in the chosen order. This is not overlapping audio mixing or a crossfade tool.
3Can volume adjustment remove noise?
No. It changes volume, not background noise. With clipping prevention enabled, excessive gain is reduced and the applied percentage may be lower than requested.
