Photo privacy guide

Clean extra information before sharing a photo

A photo may contain device, date, and location data in addition to visible pixels. The result is rebuilt from pixels only.

GPS location data

If GPS fields are found in the source, they appear in the report and are not copied to the result.

EXIF camera data

The tool checks the EXIF area that can contain camera model and capture settings.

Clear processing result

Even when no EXIF, IPTC, or XMP is found, the report distinguishes that from rebuilding the image.
